Enjoy. I’m off to pour a mug of tea and a whiskey.

Disclosure: I can’t watch this now or I’ll fall asleep. But is this the little Honda that he used to write haikus to on twitter?

Delightful. I love James’s pace and commentary.

I believe he (like me, although he is not me) has at least one Honda Cub, to which I assume he writes haiku.
This one is probably a new one, or a loaner for the show.
PS: Buy a Honda Cub.

These are some of the most zen videos.
And the ‘medium grunt’ torque setting. Very technical.

Watching this really makes me wish GT was less scripted

The reassembler is really fun to watch, also is it a screw or a boLt?

If it is used in a threaded hole without a nut, it’s a screw. If there’s a nut, it’s a bolt. (Which usually means an unthreaded hole and the bolt head and nut clamp.)
Also, I think he was talking about a screw, but...¯\_()_/¯

Helped a buddy reassemble some suspension bits on a car recently. We used “heavy grunt, some sweating”. Pretty intense torque setting.

I’ve been doing this in my backyard all week. I was drinking High Life.

Can’t tell from that angle whether it’s a 450 or 500 with a pipe swap, but that CL looks like it’s gonna be fun...after you herd all the electrons around.

Good eye! It’s a 450. I’ve been riding it for about nine months, but just ordered a bunch of parts and have been really building it up over the last few weeks. I deleted all the handlebar switches, installed a push button kill switch in place of the neutral light and wired up a toggle switch on the back of the light for the headlight controls.

Yes, I’m sure that would drive a riding friend of mine nuts. I think she knew the torque ratings for all connectors on her bike including the gas cap and valve stem caps.

Heh. Yea, I like to hit the numbers, but this was a group of nuts which had abysmal access, so no torque wrenches there.
Whatcha riding?

Triumph Sprint RS. Its been accumulating way too much dust. Sunny and clear today, so unlimbered it and did some riding drills at a nearby park (and buzzed the MSF course).
